I have been pursued and stalked by Rose Marie Zizzo for 7 years now. She bought a cat from me in 2001, let it die a year later and has blamed me for 7 years. She thinks appropriate behavior for this is to stalk, harass and destroy me. For 7 years! Not only that, she has done the same to all those breeders who have used my cats and she found them listed in pedigrees on their cattery websites. She let her cat die with no vet intervention, taking it to show after admitting she knew it was sick for 8 weeks having had the cat for a year, living in a travel trailer (yes we have all the emails and paperwork). She is a cat breeder, she had 15 other cats and numerous kittens at the time. These are all well documented facts. Despite her CFA (Cat Fanciers Association Inc.) suspension for this behavior and animal welfare issues ( when her cats all get to sick or covered in ringworm she just dumps them at the local shelter), she is still breeding cats and offering to mentor newbies and claims she can provide papers for those cats. NOT SO! She has no CFA privileges. She was never a reputable breeder with a registered cattery name, only a backyard breeder all those years. She has had major problems with almost every breeder she has done business with. This is how she gets the papers for the cats she buys as pets; she wants the cat and exlpains she can't pay for it, can she make payments? Once she has the cat in her possession she starts harassing the breeder and threatening to call animal control and make complaints to CFA if the breeder does not give her the papers for the cat with breeding rights, which she has not paid for. When we got to her apartment there were cages all over the place and on her patio ( small about 2 feet by 3 feet) the urine and cigarette smell was horrific. She had the male (Himalayan) in one of these cages on the patio. I asked if she kept him out there all the time and she said yes because he sprayed. She started to complain that Shar-Lynn was coming into season already and that she wanted to breed her right away. I told her that she should not do that. She should wait for about 6 months or more before she rebred her. She said that she (Shar-Lynn) was driving her crazy and she couldn't stand the noise. I suggested that she keep the kitten and that I would take her (Shar-Lynn) back and call it even. She decided that wouldn't work because she would have to wait until the kitten grew up before she could breed her and make money. I took my kitten and ran. I really didn't want to do business with this woman. ( This woman later advised that these 'cages' were really carriers, very small and stacked.)

To try to get this all stopped I took her to court. She harassed the court and the judge for two years. The clerks actually knew my case number and name by heart out of 4 million cases filed every year in the San Diego courts because they said she called as many as 9 times a day. The judges kept recusing themselves because of her ex-parte letters to them slandering me. This was a civil case that finally went to a criminal court judge because of all her lying. That judge wanted to know what was wrong with her, he tried for 2 hours to get her to stop lying before he put on the robes, he told her, and she would be talking to the "court" and could be prosecuted for perjury. I won a $7500.00 judgment against her, she ignored it for over a year until finally the judge explained that if she didn't quit lying to the court and pay up, she would go to jail. I then received a check from her mother for part of the amount. She ignored the interest fee and all court cost fees.

The judge and the bailiff kept me in the courtroom until they were sure she was out of the building and warned me that she was "scary dangerous" and advised me to get a restraining order which to this day has eluded me. Apparently she has to stick a gun in my face for that to happen. The bailiff also believed that she was probably a career criminal who just had never been caught since she is so quick to lie and hide, and didn't seem at all fazed by the judge catching her in all her lies.

Did that stop her? Absolutely not! She went right back to work putting up more slander on her website, and hundreds of other complaint boards. And it continues to this day in May of 2009 (that cat died in May of 2002) two years after her court date. There is no truth to all her allegations, she makes them up as she goes along. She alters documents she claims are official or she just plain makes them up.

There has been a police case filed but she has lied so many times about where she lives ( she gave the court 22 different addresses, all of which turned out to be non-existent in spite of the judges warning on that as well.) they cannot find her. She refused to provide any identification to the judge claiming she left her purse at home, since she told the judge that she was homeless, sleeping in abandoned cars, did not own a computer or anything else, he wanted to know exactly where it was that she left her purse, in an abandoned car? She refused to answer the question. The judge even had his clerk  try to find her drivers license in the system while we were in the courtroom. When that didn't work he sent the bailiff to the sheriffs office to try to find it. Apparently it did not exist, or she gave a phony name, or she is lying about who she is or who knows. The judge kept asking her what name it was under, she didn't know. The district attorney is aware of her and so is the congressman for this area. The laws are changing so maybe soon she will be arrested and stopped.

I could not find an attorney to take the case as they wanted nothing to do with such a disturbed person, so one attorney finally told me take her to small claims court where I won the judgment, which was a drop in the bucket compared to what I have lost.  She is now claiming I won this case fraudulently. How would I do that? I just showed the judge all the stuff she herself wrote! He was appalled. I am sure he will be very happy to learn he is so stupid that I deceived him. But that is Rose Marie, everyone else is wrong, only she is ever right.

Sadly my only mistake was to sell a kitten to a crazy person. Someone whom I trusted and believed to be telling me the truth, who lied to me about being a newbie and knowing nothing about breeding cats when in fact she had been at it for 30 years or more. Someone who absolutely and defiantly refused to honor her contractual agreement with me. I told her I would honor my part even though the health guarantee had expired 6 months earlier, which is 5 and half months more than the state requires. But  first there were things she needed to do to prove the cat was dead and that I was responsible. She stated she had thrown away her contract, refused to provide any information or let me talk to her vet. She became belligerent and defiant and thus began her 7 year attack. Do you think I am not sick about where this kitten ended up and what happened to her? I received so many emails from other breeders when they learned Ms. Zizzo had one of my cats, warning me that I had made a huge mistake and did not know what I was dealing with; to go get my cat before she killed it.

She has made this a daily war for over 7 years now and has always refused to accept responsibility for her own actions in regard to this kitten/cat.

I do not believe that Rose Marie has ever uttered or written one word of truth in the 8 years I have been putting up with her, not one. Not to me, not to the judge, not to anyone!

All the complaints you see are made by one person, ONE person on hundreds of sites. Most of the time she just keeps posting things she wrote 6 or 7 years ago. She has been at it around the clock for over 7 years now, and she has generated an ENORMOUS amount of complaints (actually they are all the same ones) that the file weighs more than 30 lbs and takes a huge container to hold it. There are 10 pages of her complaint on google. Her site is fake, her complaints false, and she provides no proof or documentation to back up her claims. Does a normal person do that kind of thing? for over 7 years? Can you believe she has been doing this for almost 8 years now?

Now she has put her complaint(s) on thesqueakywheel.com, the same tired 8 year old complaint and fake documents. The owner of that site, despite being provided all the documentation of Rose Marie's constant harassment, cyber-stalking, threats of mobsters and extortion, and the courts document claiming she is a harasser, refuses to take down her complaint. He apparently supports cyber stalking and cyber bullying, harassment and extortion. All of the other sites say they take cyber-stalking very seriously, not this guy. But then again, he is the only one that charges people who want to make a complaint.

Every book I have read on stalking and every cop I have talked to tells me this is typical stalker behavior. If they can't get at you they go third party, meaning they go after friends and family, or business acquaintances and co-workers. Remember all those shootings of innocent people by a crazed stalker trying to get the attention of the person they have been stalking? On her "FIP page" where she names all those that have my cats she makes this ridiculous statement;

"There is no proof this list of cat breeders who purchased from Lollimops, has ever produced kittens that died of FIP."

Then why make such a damaging statement unless it is for pure meanness, and total irresponsibility. She wants to scare off anyone that will do business with me, except it backfired and I got a lot of support from those people because they knew what she said was not true, since she was lying about them as well.
She also claims she is NOT responsible for the content of her site. Then who is, her other personality? She is the only one that has access to the site.
